You know a book is cool when it comes with a promotional trailer like this! (I always wanted to sample the opening to “Survive” to see if a hip-hop beat was hiding in there somewhere) Alice Bag’s memoir Violence Girl: East L.A. Rage to Hollywood Stage a Chicana Punk Story is set to be released next week on October 11th. A majority of the photographs in the YouTube video are featured in the book and help tell the life story of the former frontwoman of The Bags.
