What up! My name is Gabriel San Roman and I’m the co-producer of Uprising Radio heard every morning from 8-9 a.m. on KPFK Pacifica Radio in Los Angeles, Ca. I write, record, and produce the “Subversive Historian” series on the program. In my spare time I am also a freelance journalist and music writer. My articles, reviews, and interviews have appeared in publications such as Zmagazine, Znet, Commondreams, Orange County Weekly, Inland Empire Weekly, Pasadena Weekly, and LatinoLA.com just to name a few. I’ve been translated into Italian, German, Turkish, and Portuguese but never Spanish. Staying true to my community, I help co-produce and co-host SolArt Radio out of Santa Ana which broadcasts from the internet at solartradio.com.
